The Official 4th Semi-Annual Compass Cup Results!
Our Compass Academy Schuylkill and Compass Academy Lycoming, alternative education programs, squared off for the 4th semi-annual Compass Cup competition. Both schools compete in a series of athletic challenges to earn the chance to take home the Compass Cup! JusticeWorks BehvioralCare awarded Family-Centered Community Support Services Contract (FCCSS) by the South Carolina Department of Social Services
In April of 2021, JusticeWorks responded to a solicitation for Family-Centered Community Support Services (FCCSS). This project involves a collaborative partnership with the Department of Social Services and multiple community partners to create a system of care to address instability in the family system to support some 10,000 families state-wide. The Family Engagement Initiative (FEI) began in 2018 with the main goal being to "enhance meaningful family involvement in the child welfare system." We are excited to announce that Elk County has joined in partnership with the JusticeWorks family of services. Director Danielle (Dani) Haines and Supervisor, Nicholas Gaio met with Elk County Children and Youth, presented our programs and services, and provided insight into the collaboration between the organizations.
