Barry Hawkins born May 17, 1971 in Columbia, Pa. raised in Marietta, Pa. Went to Donegal H.S. (1990) in Mount Joy, Pa. Attended West Virginia University on a full football scholarship. Graduated 1995 with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work. I have been in the Human Services field since 1996, working with both adults and juveniles, in the community, residential and independent living programs. Some of the places I have worked at, Diakon as a case manager, Deverux as a residential supervisor, Coatesville Area High School as a Mental Health Specialist, Holcomb Health Systems as a Residential Supervisor and before accepting this promotion, I was the Lancaster County Supervisor for JWYC since November 2018. I am a member of two private social clubs, Moose Lodge #299 and Rainmakers where I enjoy shooting darts, pool, shuffle board and Games of skill. I am a “Brother of the Leaf” (Cigar Group) a group of friends that get together regularly, to celebrate any occasion we can think of. I enjoy watching and coaching football. I have coached on the high school (Coatesville 6 yrs. Penn Manor 1 yr. McCaskey 2 yrs.) and college (Millersville University 8 yrs.) level and have held the positions of defensive line coach, defensive coordinator, and assistant head coach. I volunteer at little league football leagues, food banks and attend Ebenezer Baptist Church. I Currently live in Lancaster, Pa. Married to Keisha Jones-Hawkins for 14 years. We have four kids and a dog. Taylor (28) Brooklyn (23) Aniya (21) Quinnes (11) and LaLa (11, our dog)
