On October, 11th York County held its 23rd annual Delinquency Court Awards Breakfast. Many notables were in attendance including Juvenile Court Judges, County Commissioners, and Bryce Wickard, Chief Juvenile Probation Officer.
Tony Forella, Supervisor of Juvenile Probation presented the Provider of the Year Award to JusticeWorks YouthCare. Tony cited our proactive ‘whatever it takes’ approach, creativity, commitment to youth,and willingness to try new approaches. We have recently partnered with York County on a unique service for delinquent females with trauma histories. Dan Heit, JW President, thanked York JPO for its partnership and support and Hilary Maugham JW’s York Program Director cited the close working relationship we enjoy with Probation which facilitates positive outcomes with delinquent youth.
