Supervised Visit Success:

Our team member, Sierra Farlling, faced a challenging situation when she couldn’t locate the parents for a scheduled supervised visit. Despite the obstacles, she persisted, eventually finding them in distress. She provided the necessary support with compassion and determination, helping the mother take a significant step toward rehabilitation by getting into substance abuse treatment. Her actions, along with the assistance of new team member Lesa Henry, were instrumental in guiding the family toward a positive change.

Housing Crisis Averted:

Another team member, Haley Delp, received a referral for a family facing eviction with a looming deadline. She worked tirelessly, assisting the family in securing partial funds and negotiating with the landlord to prevent eviction. Through persistence and resourcefulness, she ensured the family could remain in their home, teaching them to utilize their natural supports. Her ability to manage high-stress situations and provide unwavering support is genuinely commendable.

We are incredibly proud of the resilience, compassion, and commitment our Clearfield County staff demonstrated. Their actions this week exemplify the core values of our organization and the positive impact we strive to make in the lives of those we serve.
