Last month we witnessed a remarkable display of dedication and teamwork as two separate families needed a Crisis Rapid Response (CRR) plan. Thanks to the tireless efforts of Eva Gallegos and Cindy Vajda, both families were able to develop a plan ensuring the safety and well-being of their children.
Eva and Cindy worked diligently to locate family members, striving to prevent the children from entering foster care. In both cases, their efforts led to the identification of out-of-state kinship placements. Without a moment’s hesitation, Eva volunteered to drive three children to Florida to stay with their grandfather. Similarly, Cindy stepped up to transport a child to New York to stay with her older brother.
Their actions exemplify our commitment to our motto: “Whatever it takes.” This level of dedication did not go unnoticed. We have already received heartfelt thanks from Children and Youth Services (CYS) for making these transports possible.
Eva and Cindy, your commitment, dedication, and hard work have made a profound difference in the lives of these families. Your willingness to go above and beyond is truly commendable. Thank you for embodying the spirit of JusticeWorks and demonstrating what it means to put children and families first.
GREAT JOB LADIES!
