Hey Emily, [Emily Behe, Assistant Director, JW Dauphin]
I just wanted to email you and let you know how very impressed I have been with Kathleen’s work on the Curtis case. This case has been an extremely messy, time consuming and emotionally draining case. Kathleen does not just put in the hours she is mandated to do, but became a genuine support to Ms. Curtis from day one. Kathleen is able to be straight forward and direct when she needs to be, as this mother needs at times, while still maintaining a very nurturing relationship. Kathleen has spent HOURS at various hospitals, court rooms and drives to York to sit with Ms. Curtis through hours of tears. This mother had not one single supportive person of her, and Kathleen has had to be that for her and it has not been easy, but she continues to do it with a smile.
I have had many difficult cases, and many STOPP workers but I have never been so impressed by one. I would be happy to have Kathleen assigned to any of my cases in the future!
