Pennsylvania’s Department of Public Welfare has established a designation of “Promising Practices” to encourage counties to utilize programs which have made the effort to track the results of their work and can demonstrate positive outcomes.
Counties will be 90% reimbursed by the State for using Promising Practices Programs.
We are very proud that Lehigh and Northampton Counties nominated JusticeWorks and our STOPP® and JustCare® programs have been awarded Promising Practice designation.
We are appreciative of our positive collaboration with Lehigh and Northampton Counties and of DPW’s innovative leadership to encourage tracking outcomes and use of programs with positive results.
Like a team winning a championship, this acknowledgment just makes us want to continue to work hard doing whatever it takes to build better futures for youth, families and communities.
